Keeping a Multi-Site Community Organization Online, Secure, and Moving Forward

The Situation

When a growing community-focused organization came to Red Wolf Networks, their IT environment had quietly become a source of daily frustration. Spread across multiple buildings, including a student facility and a dedicated kids’ space, their infrastructure had grown without a real plan behind it. Different buildings had different problems, and nobody had a clear picture of the whole thing.

The issues were stacking up. A PC used for media projection during services was running so slowly it was affecting live programming. Internet connectivity in the student building was unreliable enough that staff had stopped counting on it. A critical workstation tied to their main operations kept crashing at the worst times. Cloud file access through OneDrive was inconsistent, and there was no remote monitoring in place, meaning problems only got addressed after someone complained loudly enough.

Their phone system had unresolved issues. Their network switches needed evaluation. And looming over everything was a pending migration to Microsoft 365 that nobody had the bandwidth or expertise to tackle internally.

This organization serves real people, on a schedule that does not bend. Downtime is not just an inconvenience – it has a direct impact on the programs and communities they support.

What We Did

Red Wolf Networks started by getting a clear baseline. Before recommending anything, we needed to understand exactly what they had, where it lived, and what was actually causing the pain. That meant deploying remote monitoring and management tools across their environment so we could see the full picture in real time.

From there, we worked through the environment methodically:

Support was delivered both remotely and onsite, matching the method to the problem. For issues that needed hands-on attention, we showed up. For issues that could be resolved faster through remote access, we handled them without requiring anyone to wait around for a technician.

The Results

The organization now has a stable, monitored environment across all of their locations. Staff are not fielding surprise outages during programming. The media PC runs reliably during services. Internet access in the student and kids buildings is consistent. The Microsoft 365 migration is complete, and the team is working in a modern environment with proper cloud file access.

Equally important – they now have a technology partner who knows their environment, can respond quickly when something comes up, and can help them make informed decisions about hardware and infrastructure before things reach a breaking point.

The ongoing monitoring means Red Wolf Networks often catches issues before staff even notice them. That shift, from reactive to predictable, changes how an organization like this is able to plan and operate.

In Their Words

“Before, we were just dealing with whatever broke that day. We didn’t have anyone who actually knew our setup or could give us a straight answer about what we needed. Now when something goes wrong, I make one call and it gets handled. That’s a completely different experience than what we were used to.”
